Just popping in to share a few from a recent baby session.  I have TONS to share but I’m currently trying to keep the workflow moving along to focus on getting the work done in an efficient manner for clients so the blogging will be coming soon, trust me, I just need to get through some more editing first!  I have been very very busy at the studio and shooting out on location these past few weeks!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE when my clients trust me to be creative and do something fun and a little more than a typical portrait.  This is one of my favorite things to do with little ones of this age:

Oh baby, the newborns in the studio have been just incredible!  This session went so easy, this little one was just so sweet!  His parents are so lucky to have such a beautiful and sweet little newborn boy!  He did fabulous for his very first photo shoot!  Here is a little peek!

Oh…and yes, a boy!  Finally!  It’s been girl, girl, girl this year!

Just as sweet as can be!  I hope you love your little peek!  Will let you know as soon as I have the rest of your photographs ready for viewing!

I am also booking beach sessions for June!  These are done in the late afternoon/evening time just before sunset to ensure the optimal light and also gives time for beaches to empty out!  If you’re thinking about scheduling do it early!  Because I like to shoot at the time of day when the light is going to be beautiful I can only shoot one beach session per day!

Newborns Newborns Newborns!

Oh how I love all these newborn sessions!  So much sweet baby love coming into my studio every day!  And this little Miss “K” was so squishy and adorable!  I just loved her smooshy face!  Just a quick share before I start my day.  I’m very busy with loads of editing and business work to get done today!

I know, I’ve said it a million times, but just a reminder to please book your newborn early!  It has been very busy at the studio and I cannot promise that you’ll get in if you wait to book your newborn  session until after your baby is born.  Prebooking ensures that you will have a session within two weeks!  It reserves your spot!  Newborn photos are so special, don’t let your little ones grow up before your very eyes without getting those very special portraits done!  It is amazing at how quickly the time passes!

Just a reminder that I have only a couple of spots left on the very special Tea Party Mini Sessions (see postcard below)!  Also, the studio has been booked almost solid every week and it looks to be a pretty heavy schedule through the end of May!  Please book your sessions in advance!  If you are pregnant and due in June – October the time to prebook your newborn session is NOW!  We only take a limited number of newborn prebookings per month to ensure they get scheduled within two weeks of age when they are still squishy and will curl and sleep for us!  Due to the popularity of our portraits we cannot guarantee that you will be able to get your newborn on the schedule if you do not prebook.  Our newborn session fees continue to be $150 and we do have some maternity/newborn packages available at this time!

We are also booking June beach sessions at this time.  Beach sessions are shot in the late afternoon/early evening just before sunset when the sun is casting it’s golden glow.  Because we can only shoot one per day these are limited so book early!   Beach session fees are $200.

Very very busy lately at the studio!  Spring session time is upon us and it’s comfy and beautiful out!  This is when everyone starts thinking about booking a session!  I’m currently booking June sessions outdoors and in the studio as well as beach sessions!  I also have a couple of spots left in the Tea Party Mini sessions which are sure to be a lot of fun for toddlers and little girls!  Please contact the studio for more information on booking a session!  401-486-3656.  Session fees start at $150.

We are having such beautiful weather and spring sessions are underway!  It’s fabulous outdoors and what better time for a shoot!?  I had  great time yesterday with these little ones and their family!  Seven month old little “G” was a smiley as can be!  You just look at him and he instantly beams!  He is at the perfect age for a portrait!  Seven months and sitting up but not walking or crawling babies tend to be very happy and friendly!  Little Miss “H” was just like most two year olds!  Playful and inquisitive and more interested in running and exploring than sitting for photos but we still managed to get some beautiful portraits of her!   Here is a little peek from their photo shoot!

If you are expecting in June – October and you want a newborn session the time to prebook to guarantee your session is NOW!  Due to the popularity of my newborn photography, it is highly recommended you book your newborn session BEFORE your baby arrives!  I prebook a limited number per month and after that I squeeze what I can in to the studio but, unfortunately, I turn many away that do not prebook!  Do NOT let those magical first moments slip by without a very special portrait!  They are only this little once!  Let me capture those memories for you to cherish for your lifetime!  A new baby is a very special time and it deserves the very best portraits!  The artwork we create on your walls will make your heart sing!

Oh the studio has been full almost daily with beautiful newborns!  Makes me want another…for a moment!  LOL  Okay, most people know that hubby and I have seven kids in total….I think I’m done!  No, I KNOW I’m done!  At least I get my newborn fix when all these beautiful, squishy babies come into my studio!  I get to rock and snuggle them and photograph them and then…they go home!  The other day we had another set of newborn twins in the studio!  I had taken their mother’s maternity session not too long ago and both mom and dad are very cool people who are totally deserving of such a wonderful gift!

There have been so many twins this year!  As all the other twins in the studio they each had their very own personality and it was easy to see right away!  One was very relaxed and I don’t believe she opened her eyes once during the session.  The other was not as chill, but she did very well.  So different they can be!  So fun too!  These sweeties are just beautiful and their parents are very blessed to have them!  I’m sure they’ll be enjoying the years ahead and before you know it dad will be chasing down the boys!  These girls are truly beautiful!
