I had the pleasure of shooting Sarah’s senior portrait session!  She’s an incredible person!  Not only is she smart and one of the top students in her class but she’s beautiful and fun too!  We had a great time down by the ocean shooting this session!  One of the perks of my job is getting to shoot in places I didn’t even know existed!   Many of my clients know of or have access to places that I had no clue were out there!  The evening of this shoot was just beautiful and being by the water totally made my night!  Anyway, here’s a peek of Sarah’s session!  Sarah you ROCKED it girl!

Sarah I hope you love your sneak peek!  You look stunning!  I’ll be in touch as soon as your gallery is ready!

Senior photography is one of my favorite types of sessions!  I have so much fun with this age group, they are really into their sessions and I enjoy the time I spend with them during these sessions!  I have just a few sessions left available for September at this time!  If you’d like to get your senior session scheduled contact me ASAP to get on the calendar!  Some schools do have a contracted photographer that you must use for your yearbook photos but you are free to hire your own photographer for your other senior photos that you’ll share with friends and family and hang on your walls!  Other schools allow you to use photographs from your own photographer as long as they fit to their standard specifications, just check with your yearbook adviser for more information!  Chose someone who has work you adore and your session will result in unique photographs all about you that you’ll cherish for years to come and be proud to show off!

I had this little cutie in the studio for a session recently!  She’s just so alert and full of smiles, kicking and blowing bubbles and all the other things three month old babies love to do!  Wouldn’t sleep a wink of course, three month old babies are so different than newborns!  We got some great shots!  SO sweet!!!

Told you she was adorable!  Can’t get any cuter!  Mom I’ll be in touch very soon with your gallery!  Hope you enjoy these for now!

I had this adorable session with family H recently that I wanted to share!  They have the cutest children and their son is such a doll, so well behaved too!  We did this session in the morning so everyone was bright eyed and ready to roll!  Check out how cute they are!  I love the colors they chose for their outfits…looked great with the location!

It’s gearing up to be a busy fall season!  Lots of weddings!  Apparently fall is the new spring!  I’ve got a load of sessions already  booked too!  So fun!  Just as a reminder, for those who are already thinking about the holidays (I know I already am) the cut off for sessions to get prints in on time is 11/15/10.  The cut off for orders is 11/30/10.  I cannot guarantee anything after those dates will be in in time for the holidays!  I have a lot of sessions already booked so time is getting really tight on the calendar already!  Please plan ahead!

Have a great day everyone!

On this dreary rainy morning as I’m running through editing piles and piles of images for my clients I just had to post this image to hopefully brighten your day!  This is from a recent engagement session during sundown on a beautiful summer evening!  We had a lot of fun!

During these dark and rainy days we should always remember to let an umbrella be your smile!  Oh and I hear the sun is right around the corner and this weekend shall be fabulous!  Make sure you enjoy every minute of it!  ;)

It’s not too late to get your senior portraits done!  Some schools have contracted photographers for yearbook photos.  You can have them shoot your yearbook photo and then hire your own favorite photographer for some stunning personalized photographs to hand out to family and friends and display!  Many schools do not force you to use the contracted photographer any longer.  Check with your yearbook advisor to see what the rules are for your school!  They usually have a spec sheet for you to bring to your photographer with what is required.  If you are allowed to submit a photo taken by your own photographer you can have something no one else has!   I’ve got a few openings left in September so if you haven’t scheduled your session yet, do it soon!  You can select a traditional studio session like the photographs in this post, or an on-location session which you’ll see examples of in posts below this post.

I had some fun out with Danielle and Tim shooting their engagement session in a fabulous field just before sunset!  They are such a cute couple together!  I cannot wait to shoot their wedding, it’s going to be so fun I can tell already!  Here’s a quick peek of their e-session!  The countdown is on guys!  Can’t wait!

I had the honor of photographing this beautiful wedding!  What a fun day it was, everyone was so happy and blessed to be together.   It was a spectacular and very hot day!  I could barely see through my camera as it was steaming up from the extreme humidity!   Just as we were wrapping up the outdoor formal shots it started to sprinkle and once we were inside the skies opened up to one of the most torrential downpours ever!  But not after giving us the most spectacular clouds in the sky!  Francine and Charlie I wish you all the best as you go forward building your lives together!

Your day was a great one that I will always remember!   Best wishes!

Kelsey is a senior this year and she wanted her senior portrait session to reflect her personality and what better place to shoot it than at her fabulous home!  They have an incredible place with the most incredible old barn!  It has beautiful flaking paint and it’s so rustic and perfect for a session!   Kelsey is a very down to earth casual girl and I just love her natural look and her freckles!   She has a lot of different “looks” too…we had a lot of fun shooting her session!

Just a quick reminder that the studio is closed Friday, August 6th through Sunday, August 15th.  I hope that everyone is enjoying this fabulous summer!  I have been loving every second!
