I had a sweet session with L&M last weekend for their first communion! They were a lot of fun! Their session took place right outside the studio with natural light! They are both so beautiful and handsome, I couldn’t wait to share! I have lots of editing to catch up on but I wanted to pop in to share a few from their session!
Oh, I can’t tell you how good Mr. M. was at giving me “The Look”!
Mom I’ll be in touch as soon as I have the gallery ready! I hope you love these, they did an awesome job!
The weather has been great for getting outside sessions done! My schedule is getting pretty tight so please plan ahead when booking! You should contact the studio two months before your desired session date to get scheduled!

Wanted to share another great First Communion session today! This is a great age for portraits. First Communion is a once in a lifetime event and it deserves to be captured in beautiful portraits! Book yours now, indoors at the studio or outdoors at the studio or on location! The trees and flowers are blooming and I’m so looking forward to getting back outdoors shooting again! These sessions go really fast! Limited to five only at this very special price! These sessions are not available for newborns due to the nature of newborn sessions and the time involved. I’d also recommend that children should be able to at least sit up unattended for these types of sessions. Please contact me for more information. Once they’re gone they’re gone!

First Communion is a very special time in a young person’s life! First Communion sessions are in full swing at the studio right now so I’m sharing these with you! Such a fun session with Miss “H” as she prepares for her very special day! At the studio we have an indoor studio and a chapel to shoot in as well as a beautiful outdoor area that we can use, weather permitting of course! This session was shot inside using the studio and a natural light area for some of the shots as well as the chapel.
Back to my editing I go! I’m currently working on a large family session that I did recently and I’ll have more First Communion sessions to showcase soon!
To book your session, contact me right away, my schedule is booking up now that the weather is getting nicer!

It’s time to book those First Communion portrait sessions! I’m pleased to be able to offer the same incredible special as last year! The only change to last year’s special is if you are purchasing the special it must take place at the studio at Cortland Place in Smithfield. I will not be offering this special for on location sessions. The studio has a beautiful outdoor area which works very well. Many of last fall’s sessions you see on this blog were shot in the outdoor area at the studio! If weather is not working in our favor we have the indoor studio and we even have access to a real chapel to shoot in right in the building! Here is the brochure from last year’s special. Everything remains the same this year except for location choice!
Contact the studio ASAP to book your session! As soon as the weather warms up my calendar tends to book up solid very quickly! You are always welcome to book a regular on location session for your First Communion portraits if you’d like to go to Roger Williams Park or any other location. The special cannot apply to on-location sessions this year, however.

I am taking appointments for First Communion portraits now. I’m already booking into May and June so book early to get your preferred time! If you’re planning on having a portrait displayed at your child’s First Communion event or gift prints for family and friends please allow enough time prior so you will have it ready in time! Allow two weeks for editing and two weeks for prints to be made. That’s a minimum of four weeks (if you make your selections timely) for you to have your prints in hand. If you’re planning on having a large portrait professionally framed, factor more time!
