We’ve been doing a lot of headshots and promotional shoots for clients in the studio! Sharing some examples from a recent studio session I had with someone who wanted headshots and promotional photographs for website and marketing materials! We want our clients to look their very best in their professional images and we collaborate with our clients to coordinate with their marketing and branding to make sure they are putting their best images out there to represent their businesses!
A headshot is not just a photograph of you, it’s your most essential marketing tool! You should consider it your personal business card. Modern style professional headshots will help you stand out from the rest!

Little Miss “Z”, age 3, was in the studio the other day for some updated photos for her modeling portfolio. She is such a doll and I had so much fun with her! It was an amazingly beautiful day outside so we squeezed in a few shots outside in the beautiful natural light! Miss “Z” did a wonderful job and she’s going to have a lot of great shots to pick from for her portfolio! She’s a great little model! Check her out!
I have been so busy in the studio that I have not been blogging as much as usual! We are still here, just very busy! Especially when it comes to maternity and newborn sessions! You want to schedule those as far in advance as possible as we can only take a limited number of newborns per month due to the unpredictability of their arrival!

Linda Hawkins Photography is kicking off the 2012 Senior Representative Program! We are looking for 2012 senior high school students with a great attitude, outgoing personality, enthusiasm, and significant involvement in high school activities would would like to earn free photographs! You need not be a model to apply!
In order to qualify you must:
- Have great style, lots of personality and really enjoy being in front of the camera and the desire to have a unique photo experience like nothing you’ve experienced before!
- Be a current high school senior graduating in 2012
- Be available to have your session shot before August 31st, 2011
- Live in and attend school in RI or southern MA
- Agree to pass out your rep cards to everyone you know and tell them they can save 10% off their 2012 senior portrait session if they book using your rep card by February 15, 2012
- Have your parents or legal guardians sign a model release form
- Agree to represent ONLY Linda Hawkins Photography
What’s in it for you?

- $20 print credit for each referred senior who completes a session with your rep card by February 15, 2012
- Refer 10 or more seniors and I’ll throw in $100 cash after sessions are complete and everyone is paid in full!
When your referrals book a paid session and bring in your Rep Card you will receive a $20 print credit for each! These referrals can include anyone who books the following sessions: Senior, Newborn, Family Portraits, Portraits, Weddings, etc. Any referral cards used between the time your session is complete and February 15, 2012 will be kept and tallied and you can order additional products or prints with your credits at that time! We have lots of super cool products in our product line especially for seniors!
Only two students, maximum will be accepted per school. If accepted, you will be representing Linda Hawkins Photography and telling your friends about our Senior Sessions throughout your senior year. Be sure to let your junior friends know also, so they will have a chance to apply for the 2013 program!
The classmate(s) must present a referral card in order to be eligible. All referred classmates and friends will receive 10% of their session products with a valid referral card. Your participation in the program will not only introduce you to a new way for cutting edge, personalized photography, but also a way to earn incentives toward your session for senior portraits at little or no cost.
Parents or legal guardians of the Senior Rep must sign a model release, allowing us to use your images for advertising purposes. A valid Senior Portrait Rep Referral Card must be presented by a referred student in order to receive any credits toward prints. Credits will only be issued when a referred senior’s session is complete and all fees are paid in a timely manner by the referred senior.
Interested students should submit all information by Friday, July 23, 2011. Reps will be contacted the following week if chosen and also announced on the Blog and on Facebook and sessions will be scheduled. No more than two reps will be chosen from each school. All rep sessions must take place before August 31, 2011 to be eligible for this program!

These sessions go really fast! Limited to five only at this very special price! These sessions are not available for newborns due to the nature of newborn sessions and the time involved. I’d also recommend that children should be able to at least sit up unattended for these types of sessions. Please contact me for more information. Once they’re gone they’re gone!

Thank you everyone for your concerns over my daughter’s recent injuries. The notes, flowers, gifts and cards are all so appreciated. We are on the road to recovery and her stitches will be out within the next couple of days, thank goodness, it’s not easy keeping a kid full of stitches and open injuries clean . As I am getting caught up, please bear with me as I catch up with emails, they are out of control!
I wanted to release a quick blog post of this beautiful young lady who will be surprising her dad with some beautiful photographs for Christmas! She is so stunning I couldn’t wait to share! Fourteen and taller than me…okay, I’m little, but still, she’s just incredible! We had to work fast, it was really cold out when we shot these! We worked fast but got fabulous shots! Here’s a small peek!

I’m so behind in my blog posts! This is my busy season and when I’m busy I tend to let the blog sit. Slowly but surely I’ll get more up so you can see some more of the recent work I’ve been creating! Seems I’ve been shooting a wedding or two every weekend which is crazy! Anyhow I just wanted to share a few shots from this session I had with the “M” girls! They’re so pretty!

I had beautiful Brittany in front of my camera yesterday for bridals…we had a fabulous time out at Proctor Mansion Inn in Wrentham, MA. Check her out! Such a beautiful bride!
We even did a few really fun shots…not quite trash the dress, but something non-traditional/fun that shows Brittany’s personality!!

I recently had Katy in the studio after winning the title of Supreme Queen The NES Spring Fling pageant in Florida! We had a fun photo shoot! And I have to say, her crown is the biggest crown I have EVER seen!!! Katy is also a model and you may have seen some of my photographs of her before.
Congrats Katy!
This last one has a different edit which I think really adds to the feeling!
