These sessions go really fast!  Limited to five only at this very special price!  These sessions are not available for newborns due to the nature of newborn sessions and the time involved.  I’d also recommend that children should be able to at least sit up unattended for these types of sessions.   Please contact me for more information.  Once they’re gone they’re gone!

Amber |RI Boudoir Photographer

February 19, 2011

I had Amber in the studio recently for a  boudoir session.  We went with more of a pin up look because it fit her style and her look.  She’s so fun and bubbly and her look screams 1940′s to me!  Here are a few of the photographs from her session I can share with you!  We had a great time at the shoot!  These sessions are a lot of fun!

Lots going on at the studio these days!  The phone has been ringing off the hook this week!  The small spell of warm weather must be bringing on spring fever!  Love it!  Don’t forget to book early!  Thanks for peeking!

I was lucky this week to have the most beautiful Stephanie Mulcahy in to the studio for a pageant shoot!  Not only is she Miss Teen RI International 2011 who happens to be pretty, but she is also a pre-med student and an active member in the United States Army!  I am very impressed I must say!  I couldn’t wait to share a few photographs from her session!  Stephanie you are incredible and I’m very pleased and honored to have had the opportunity to take your headshots!  Here is a peek!

Stephanie I wish you all the best as you prepare for the Miss Teen International Competition in July!  I’m so very excited for you!  The pageant will be spectacular!

Booking into Spring!

January 31, 2011

We’ve got some fabulous new drops in the studio!  Here is a share from a recent studio shoot!

I’m already booking out Spring sessions!  Once the weather warms up (trust me, winter is NOT here forever) things get really busy so if you’re hoping to get onto the calendar for Spring I’d book now!  I’ve got bookings into June at this point and it’s going to book up quickly.  May is already getting tight!  If you are looking for a studio session now I still have some availability!

Don’t forget those First Communion sessions!  I have a special for that!  It’s the same special we ran last year which was very popular!  Limited to sessions at the studio location only and can be indoor or outdoor or a combo of both!  The First Communion special is a one hour shoot in First Communion attire.  If you’d like a regular two hour session to capture First Communion and other changes of outfits you are welcome to book those as a regular session.  I LOVE this age!!!

Contact me at the studio for more information!

Thank you everyone for your concerns over my daughter’s recent injuries.   The notes, flowers, gifts and cards are all so appreciated.  We are on the road to recovery and her stitches will be out within the next couple of days, thank goodness, it’s not easy keeping a kid full of stitches and open injuries clean .  As I am getting caught up, please  bear with me as I catch up with emails, they are out of control!

I wanted to release a quick blog post of this beautiful young lady who will be surprising her dad with some beautiful photographs for Christmas!  She is so stunning I couldn’t wait to share!   Fourteen and taller than me…okay, I’m little, but still, she’s just incredible!  We had to work fast, it was really cold out when we shot these!  We worked fast but got fabulous shots!  Here’s a small peek!

Wow….This family of cousins came to see me to do a portrait for their grandmother for Christmas.  Their grandmother is an avid knitter….an awesome one I might add!  She makes her grandchildren beautiful sweaters and they decided to wear them for their session!  I seriously felt like I was on a childrens model shoot!  Fabulous clothing, beautiful children, beautiful location!   Seven of the most well-behaved children I might add!  And their moms….well, they were fun and happy and laughing and I felt like I knew them forever!  To be honest, when I looked at my schedule and realized I was going off to shoot 7 children ages 3 – 12 I headed out shaking in my boots!  These types of sessions can be a bit…well….rough on an old lady like me…lol.  They were just perfect!

So, of course, here is a large share from their session!  As always, I’m keeping their group photos under wraps for them!   Which is okay because I have so much to share anyway!  Check these guys out!  Oh…and yes, there are six boys and one princess!  Oh, and they are seriously GORGEOUS!   There are some incredible genes in this family!

Just a reminder that I’ll be at the William Winsor Vendor/Craft show today.  Route 44, Greenville RI from 10-3.   I’d love to see you all come by so you can see my display of beautiful photographs!  Of course they look great online, but they are even more incredible in person!  I have lots to show you so come on by!  If I haven’t met you, stop by and introduce yourself!  I’d love to meet you!  I have a coupon for Jan/Feb sessions and I’m going to give away a free session with an 11×14 print so be sure to sign up!    There are five or six craft/bazaar/vendor shows all in the heart of Greenville!  It’s like an indoor art festival so come on by and get a jump on your holiday shopping!  I promise it’s great fun and you’ll see lots of incredible things!

Also, a reminder that due to the show today, my son’s hockey tournament this weekend and my daughter’s dance recital I’m a bit slow to answer emails and get proofs, etc. out this weekend.   The vendor show/hockey tourney/dance recital are scheduled on the same weekend every year as well as my house full of busy people.  I basically take this weekend off from my work but I promise I’ll be back full swing on Monday pumping things out!

Enjoy your weekend!  Hope to see you out shopping today!  ;)

Yesterday was simply picture perfect!  70 degrees and glorious sunshine!  Just perfection!  I enjoyed every minute!  Of course I did have a couple of sessions!  Here is a peek at the afternoon family session…the morning session will come later (lots of beautiful children).  The afternoon session was perfectly timed during the stunning afternoon sunset!  And with the warm weather it was so much fun to be out!  There are still a lot of great leaves left at the studio, located at the beautiful Cortland Place in Greenville!  I’m so lucky to have such a fabulous setting for my sessions!  Here is a quick peek of yesterday afternoon’s adult session…seriously, I wanted to put them all up!  Seriously, there are too many fabulous shots from this session!

It was time for “H” to have her fall portraits.  I always advise my clients to chose outfits carefully.  Avoid white or black and think about the environment where you will be shooting and what the surrounding colors may be and go with something that will pop.  In the fall I find the best colors seem to be the deep jewel tones.  They are rich and work well against the fall colors.   Always think of accessories!  I just love hats and scarves are fun too!   Here is “H” from her mini session.

Next up on the blog I have a great family session and two weddings!  Whew!   I’ve been busy!

I had the pleasure of shooting Sarah’s senior portrait session!  She’s an incredible person!  Not only is she smart and one of the top students in her class but she’s beautiful and fun too!  We had a great time down by the ocean shooting this session!  One of the perks of my job is getting to shoot in places I didn’t even know existed!   Many of my clients know of or have access to places that I had no clue were out there!  The evening of this shoot was just beautiful and being by the water totally made my night!  Anyway, here’s a peek of Sarah’s session!  Sarah you ROCKED it girl!

Sarah I hope you love your sneak peek!  You look stunning!  I’ll be in touch as soon as your gallery is ready!

Senior photography is one of my favorite types of sessions!  I have so much fun with this age group, they are really into their sessions and I enjoy the time I spend with them during these sessions!  I have just a few sessions left available for September at this time!  If you’d like to get your senior session scheduled contact me ASAP to get on the calendar!  Some schools do have a contracted photographer that you must use for your yearbook photos but you are free to hire your own photographer for your other senior photos that you’ll share with friends and family and hang on your walls!  Other schools allow you to use photographs from your own photographer as long as they fit to their standard specifications, just check with your yearbook adviser for more information!  Chose someone who has work you adore and your session will result in unique photographs all about you that you’ll cherish for years to come and be proud to show off!
