Child Spring Portrait Sessions|RI Photographer
April 22, 2012Very very busy lately at the studio! Spring session time is upon us and it’s comfy and beautiful out! This is when everyone starts thinking about booking a session! I’m currently booking June sessions outdoors and in the studio as well as beach sessions! I also have a couple of spots left in the Tea Party Mini sessions which are sure to be a lot of fun for toddlers and little girls! We are having such beautiful weather and spring sessions are underway! It’s fabulous outdoors and what better time for a shoot!? I had great time yesterday with these little ones and their family! Seven month old little “G” was a smiley as can be! You just look at him and he instantly beams! He is at the perfect age for a portrait! Seven months and sitting up but not walking or crawling babies tend to be very happy and friendly! Little Miss “H” was just like most two year olds! Playful and inquisitive and more interested in running and exploring than sitting for photos but we still managed to get some beautiful portraits of her! Here is a little peek from their photo shoot!

March 10, 2012I will admit, I’ve been SO busy that blogging has been at the bottom of my list! I’m so sorry to all of you that enjoy reading! I’m going to try to do better sharing! The studio is just hopping with new mamas, newborns, children, models and head shots that I have not had much time for my blog! So, without further adieu, here is a recent adorable family session! The “M” family has been coming to me for a few years now, and I really enjoy seeing clients year after year and seeing how the children grow! This family is no exception! They are sweet and playful and a joy to be around and photograph!

Miss “Z”|RI Model Photography
January 8, 2012Little Miss “Z”, age 3, was in the studio the other day for some updated photos for her modeling portfolio. She is such a doll and I had so much fun with her! It was an amazingly beautiful day outside so we squeezed in a few shots outside in the beautiful natural light! Miss “Z” did a wonderful job and she’s going to have a lot of great shots to pick from for her portfolio! She’s a great little model! Check her out!
I have been so busy in the studio that I have not been blogging as much as usual! We are still here, just very busy! Fall Photos – “D” Family – RI Family Photographer
October 18, 2011I LOVE when clients come back year after year. I love seeing how their children grow and how they change through the years! First steps, first lost tooth and first kids off to college…ahhh….it all goes by so fast! I have a few families this year that are back for their third year in a row of portraits! This is one of them and my how they have grown! I love these guys! These kids are so full of personality, each one of them is so different than the other, one quiet and reserved, one full of spunk and inquisitive and the other full of giggles and fun! Beautiful kids and their mom always does such a great job at coordinating their outfits for their session! Here’s a quick peek from their woodsy fall session!
Boy did I luck out when a small dog came trotting up right behind me here, the kids thought this was funny and it was perfect for getting them looking in just the right direction! I may have to start bringing a dog to assist me on my shoots! LOL

Little Mr. C | RI Baby Photographer
October 15, 2011I wanted to share this great session with a family vacationing at Castle Hill in Newport the other day! Turns out it was one of the most beautiful summer-like days in October! We were comfy out on the beach for the evening shoot. Couldn’t ask for better weather! Little Mr. C. was sweet and adorable and at the perfect age for baby photos! He had us laughing so much with his cuteness! When babies are sitting up but not yet crawling or walking they are as happy as pie to sit for photographs and go on a little excursion looking for perfect locations for a family photograph! Castle Hill is such a beautiful location and makes the most perfect location for a photoshoot. They have woods and grassy areas, gardens and a beautiful beach…soooo many possibilities! We wore Mr. C. out but he did awesome! Here are a few photos from their session!
Oh and I was so lucky to get to capture little Mr. C’s first time in the sand…he was adorable! I just love this shot!
We shot such a variety that evening that I’m having a really tough time narrowing it down! LOL I hope that Mr. C’s mom and dad love this peek! I better get back to work, I’m editing like crazy! Enjoy the weekend everyone!
The “B” Children | RI Child Photographer
October 9, 2011Had a fabulous session with the “B” kids the other day! The weather here this w/e is fabulous for shooting, couldn’t ask for better! the trees are just starting to turn so fall colors are really popping in the images! I have a couple of sessions left if you want to squeeze in before the leaves are gone! Seriously folks, this is the BEST time of year for a session! And you will have prints ready for holiday gifts and, oh, don’t forget the beautiful custom created holiday cards that are so popular at the studio every year! Anyhow, these two were just adorable! Hard to believe but little Miss “M” is only two years old! What fantastic listeners these two are! Oh, and I highly recommend if you have a session coming up to bring hats and fantastic layers of sweaters, vests and scarves! I know it doesn’t feel cool, but they are fabulous additions to photographs adding texture and color! Check these cuties out!
Okay I better stop there…lol. Too many cute ones to pick from! Mom and Dad I hope you love your peek! They did an AWESOME job! You are going to have a really difficult job making your selections!

Nicole and Steve – Couples Beach Session |RI Photographer
September 25, 2011Nicole and Steve recently met me at the beach for a session. The sky and the sea looked very rough and stormy, but it was not a bad day to be outdoors! The temps were comfortable and there was lots going on down at the beach. It was pretty windy and the water was really rough and churning black and dark like I have never seen before! Sad to think that summer is over as we are quickly moving into fall! Fall sessions will be ramping up and filling these pages with colorful photographs! But I love the beach more than anything! Steve and Nicole brought their adorable and well behaved dog along for their shoot! He was really well behaved and Nicole told me that he slept all the way home after! Here’s a peek! I just love this first shot by the way…

Lots of fall and holiday sessions being booked now! Keep in mind that in order to have your prints back in time for the holidays we recommend you have your session shot before the second week of November. Right now November is almost entirely booked with only a couple of slots available. We still have a number of session times available in the month of October (when the leaves are spectacular for outside sessions). If you’re looking for a studio session we are almost booked solid through the holidays with the exception of some evening slots and a couple of weekend morning sessions! As always we will offer beautiful custom holiday cards ordered through our labs featuring photographs from your sessions! Please remember to leave ample time to get those cards out in time! Turn around time on editing is two weeks. Turn around time for prints during the holidays is 8 -12 days and longer for canvases and other goodies! And lastly, what’s a better gift for the person who has everything than a gift certificate to the studio!? Portraits are a wonderfully special gift and we have gift certificates to fit every budget!

Zenobia & Jay – Married | MA & RI Wedding Photographer
September 11, 2011I had the honor of photographing another beautiful wedding at a beautiful private residence! Zenobia was stunning and did not stop smiling all day! I love these happy brides! Jay was very handsome and they made a perfect match! The location was just exquisite with the most perfect beautiful tree (complete with tree swing) that they said their vows under and the grapevines and walls where we did their formals! What a beautiful spot for pictures! It was extremely sunny during their vows, but as the sun set after there was lots of beautiful light! Zenobia’s and Jay’s families were loads of fun and ready to have a lot of fun dancing and singing to the music by one of the Platters lead singers, Tony Funches (fabulous by the way)! It was a really fun wedding and even the kids (and let me tell you, there were oodles of beautiful babies at this wedding) were having a blast all the way through to the ice cream sundaes at the end! Family Beach Session | RI Family Beach Photographer
September 6, 2011It’s always cool when other photographers come to me for their sessions! Was happy, and sad, to shoot a family beach session for Jen DeCesari of DeCesari Photography. Sad because Jen and her family are moving away down south and she wanted a family session here in RI before she left! Jen’s family was so cute at the beach one evening a week ago! We met up just a few days after the hurricane and surprisingly the beach and the Narragansett area looked untouched by the storms! September is the perfect month for a beach session here in RI! The weather is not too hot and we still have great evening light! I do have a few times left for beach sessions so if you’re interested contact the studio ASAP! Scarborough Narragansett RI Beach
Little Princess | RI Newborn Photographer
August 21, 2011This little princess came in to the studio the other day for her first professional photo session at 11 days old! Not once did she close her eyes and she was already starting to loose the newborn curl! She was one of the sweetest awake babies I have ever photographed! Her eyes are the biggest eyes I have ever seen…just incredibly beautiful! Here are a few from her session! I’m sure you’ll agree how beautiful she is! Lucky for us it was a beautiful evening and right around the golden hour of sunset so we could get some beautiful outside shots! They are, of course, my favorites!
11 days old and this little girl was so very strong!
She was the cutest little thing! I enjoyed shooting her newborn session! I double enjoyed that we were able to take her outside! Mom and Dad I’ll be in touch in about two weeks with your private gallery! I hope you enjoy this peek for now!
The new studio is right on schedule and will be open on September 1st! The fall schedule is booking up like crazy, just as in past years! The fall is such a busy time for the studio with everyone getting their senior photos, family photos and holiday photos! Book early!
Little Miss “M” is just under two and I had her come see me for a fun little tea party. This age can be a tough one to photograph but I find if we try to make the session fun and playful children of this age tend to do a lot better than in a studio situation. It took her a few to warm up but in the end I think she had a good time! We shot these just before sunset which gave us some very pretty light!

Miss “M” is just so very sweet! I knew she’d love a tea party! She was as cute as can be and she was playing, which is much more acceptable to a child her age! She even brought her very special lovey teddy! To Miss “M’s” mama I hope you love this peek….it’s just too adorable!
