Babies! Babies! Babies! There have been oodles of newborn babies in the studio this spring! And it appears we are now on a girl trend! So sweet they are and so much fun to shoot! Just a quick share here of this little sweet Miss “A” who was in the studio for her very first photo shoot! She was a tiny little sweet one!
Sweet, sweet, sweet! Call the studio today to book your session! It is highly recommended you book your newborn session BEFORE your baby arrives! I prebook a limited number per month and after that I squeeze what I can in to the studio but, unfortunately, I turn many away that do not prebook!

Baby “H” was a sweet as can be! Just love having all these newborn babies in the studio! I get to cuddle them and get some sweet photographs of them while getting to know their parents, it’s really a fun time! I love capturing these little ones while they are still so little and before they’ve changed too much. As a mom myself I know how quickly they change and grow! It’s amazing when they come back to the studio a few weeks after their session to view their photographs and they bring their little ones back and to see how much they have already changed in that tiny span of time! Anyhow, check out baby “H” at her very first photo shoot…as cute as can be!
This family has a very special connection to turtles and they surprised me with this sweet turtle prop! Thank goodness I have a log in my studio because what’s better than a sweet turtle on a log!
Not sure what happened nine months ago but there sure is a baby boom going on these days at the studio! It’s so much fun having these sweet little ones in the studio!

These twins were as sweet as sugar! I enjoyed their session and it was so great seeing their mama’s again! I hope they are getting some rest! I cannot imagine having two newborns at one time! Though I do notice that newborns tend to do much better during a session. Maybe it’s because they are already adjusted to not being the only one, I’m not sure, but goodness, these two are adorable! What’s better than a boy and a girl filled with newborn sweetness! Check out this little peek!
Sweet babies are just piling into the studio right now! It is truly a baby boom! Please make sure you book your newborn sessions well BEFORE your baby is born! I’ve recently had to turn away quite a few people who tried to book sessions after their baby was born. The two week window of time that we like to get them into the studio is so small that it’s very likely that if you wait until after your baby is born that you will not get in!

We’ve been doing a lot of headshots and promotional shoots for clients in the studio! Sharing some examples from a recent studio session I had with someone who wanted headshots and promotional photographs for website and marketing materials! We want our clients to look their very best in their professional images and we collaborate with our clients to coordinate with their marketing and branding to make sure they are putting their best images out there to represent their businesses!

On my way out to another busy day at the studio with a line up of an early morning baby session and a model session this afternoon but in my promise to share more I wanted to quickly share a few from a recent newborn session. This little sweetie is the new baby of one of my beautiful wedding couples! I LOVE when my wedding couples come back with their new babies! It is so fun watching families grow and evolve through the years! This little one is going to grow up to be a little charmer! See how adorable sweet she is!
I had beautiful twin newborns and a maternity in the studio yesterday! It’s a baby boom for sure with all these babies! I love it!
Off to the studio I go for a busy Sunday! We’re booking seven days a week and evening sessions these days to accommodate our clients busy schedules! The calendar is booking up really tight these days so please plan ahead when booking your session….spring will be here before we know it and my spring outside sessions are almost all booked! So excited to be so busy and I’m loving every moment!

I will admit, I’ve been SO busy that blogging has been at the bottom of my list! I’m so sorry to all of you that enjoy reading! I’m going to try to do better sharing! The studio is just hopping with new mamas, newborns, children, models and head shots that I have not had much time for my blog! So, without further adieu, here is a recent adorable family session! The “M” family has been coming to me for a few years now, and I really enjoy seeing clients year after year and seeing how the children grow! This family is no exception! They are sweet and playful and a joy to be around and photograph!

Little Miss “Z”, age 3, was in the studio the other day for some updated photos for her modeling portfolio. She is such a doll and I had so much fun with her! It was an amazingly beautiful day outside so we squeezed in a few shots outside in the beautiful natural light! Miss “Z” did a wonderful job and she’s going to have a lot of great shots to pick from for her portfolio! She’s a great little model! Check her out!

Good golly I had the cutest little love in the studio the other day! It’s been such a busy season for us this year and I am so busy editing and shooting and getting things out to everyone! I promise I’ll have more cuties to share soon but I just wanted to pop in with a couple of photos of this little cutie! She has that porcelain doll look! Her grandmother made this beautiful layette in this first shot! It was perfect on her!

We’ve been so busy at the studio that I have not been able to get blog posts up! Every year at this time of the year it’s incredible how the sessions fill up! Here is a quick peek at a recent studio session. We have some beautiful holiday decor at the studio that we’ll be using for the holiday mini sessions and we tested out one of the sets here! These two little ones were so much fun! I really enjoyed their session, they kept me laughing! Their mom was so organized! She brought a number of outfits and hats for each child and had them neatly organized. We zipped right through this session!
As you can see, they were adorable! I wanted to take them home with me they were so much fun! We got some fun shots, some silly shots, lots of nice shots, mom is going to have a tough time narrowing this one down!

Erica and Bill are expecting their first baby in just a couple of weeks! They came in for a maternity shoot and we had a ball! Erica had her hair and makeup perfectly done and brought tons of outfits and accessories, she really did a great job planning what she wanted to wear for her session! So did Bill! Poor guy, I kept insisting on no shirt and he had brought all sorts of cool clothes! LOL These two are so beautiful together as well as separately, can you imagine how beautiful their baby is going to be!?! Here is a peek from their session with some of my favorite shots!

I cannot believe fall is already upon us, why did summer have to go so fast? I do love the fall colors, Halloween costumes, carving pumpkins, fall decorating and warm pumpkin muffins smothered in cream cheese! I’m excited about offering this limited edition Halloween Mini Special to all the ghosts and goblins out there! This year, for two days only, Linda Hawkins Photography will be offering Halloween themed mini-sessions in the studio! The fun takes place Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday October 30th. The sitting is only $25 and there are 3 packages to choose from for this special! I have a super-cute Halloween background planned that will work perfectly with cute or scary costumes and basic black and bright white will also be available!
Once both days are filled, the children who are shot on those two dates will be eligible to win a free session for their immediate family! One photo of each child shot in their costume during the Halloween Mini Specials will be selected and posted here on the blog (no names) and the child with the most comments will win a complimentary Holiday/Christmas session and their choice of 24 – 5×7 custom holiday portrait cards from that session!

I had this little cutie pie in my studio the other day! She is so sweet and adorable! A petite little gentle one at my favorite age for photos, 8 months! Able to sit without walking! She was able to crawl, but she did sit for a good while before she decided crawling away would be more fun…and we were pretty much done at that point anyway! Here are some from her session!
Told you she was a cutie pie! And try as I did, she would not smile much at me! I think we did everything but stand on our heads! I think that’s what she may have been waiting for! Even mom and dad tried! Anyhow, non-smiling photos are always my favorite. Baby “E” has the most beautiful eyes, they truly melt your heart! Look out boys!

I had the honor of photographing another beautiful wedding at a beautiful private residence! Zenobia was stunning and did not stop smiling all day! I love these happy brides! Jay was very handsome and they made a perfect match! The location was just exquisite with the most perfect beautiful tree (complete with tree swing) that they said their vows under and the grapevines and walls where we did their formals! What a beautiful spot for pictures! It was extremely sunny during their vows, but as the sun set after there was lots of beautiful light! Zenobia’s and Jay’s families were loads of fun and ready to have a lot of fun dancing and singing to the music by one of the Platters lead singers, Tony Funches (fabulous by the way)! It was a really fun wedding and even the kids (and let me tell you, there were oodles of beautiful babies at this wedding) were having a blast all the way through to the ice cream sundaes at the end! It’s always cool when other photographers come to me for their sessions! Was happy, and sad, to shoot a family beach session for Jen DeCesari of DeCesari Photography. Sad because Jen and her family are moving away down south and she wanted a family session here in RI before she left! Jen’s family was so cute at the beach one evening a week ago! We met up just a few days after the hurricane and surprisingly the beach and the Narragansett area looked untouched by the storms! September is the perfect month for a beach session here in RI! The weather is not too hot and we still have great evening light! I do have a few times left for beach sessions so if you’re interested contact the studio ASAP!
