April 6, 2012Little Miss “A” came into the studio for a very special session! She is one very special girl with some very special people in her life that love her very much! She’s turning one this week so she came in for her very first portrait session and cake smash! What’s better than capturing your one year old with their very first birthday cake!? It’s a really fun session and it truly makes memories that will last a life time! Look at this sweetie! She was so much fun!

I am SO behind on my blogging! I have SO much to share but I’ve been SO busy with non-stop sessions! There is truly a baby boom going on and there have been so many newborn sessions going on! I just wanted to pop on to share a few from the session of newborn baby “E”! She was a sweet as can be! I just love all these babies!
As a reminder, if you a pregnant please book your newborn session in advance of your baby’s birth! This will ensure you get into the studio within that magical two week window where newborns are still sleepy and will curl up well for the newborn types of shots! If you wait until your baby is born before booking your session you may not be able to get into the studio within that time! I’ve been turning people away almost every day. Newborn sessions are about three hours long so it’s not always easy to squeeze them in! Book early! I only book a certain number per month to ensure that everyone will get in to the studio for their session! The schedule has been booked up pretty tight right through this year so please plan accordingly!

Newborn Baby “H”|RI Newborn Baby Photographer
March 25, 2012Baby “H” was a sweet as can be! Just love having all these newborn babies in the studio! I get to cuddle them and get some sweet photographs of them while getting to know their parents, it’s really a fun time! I love capturing these little ones while they are still so little and before they’ve changed too much. As a mom myself I know how quickly they change and grow! It’s amazing when they come back to the studio a few weeks after their session to view their photographs and they bring their little ones back and to see how much they have already changed in that tiny span of time! Anyhow, check out baby “H” at her very first photo shoot…as cute as can be!
This family has a very special connection to turtles and they surprised me with this sweet turtle prop! Thank goodness I have a log in my studio because what’s better than a sweet turtle on a log!
Not sure what happened nine months ago but there sure is a baby boom going on these days at the studio! It’s so much fun having these sweet little ones in the studio!
The “F” Newborn Baby Twins!|RI Newborn Photographer
March 20, 2012These twins were as sweet as sugar! I enjoyed their session and it was so great seeing their mama’s again! I hope they are getting some rest! I cannot imagine having two newborns at one time! Though I do notice that newborns tend to do much better during a session. Maybe it’s because they are already adjusted to not being the only one, I’m not sure, but goodness, these two are adorable! What’s better than a boy and a girl filled with newborn sweetness! Check out this little peek!
Sweet babies are just piling into the studio right now! It is truly a baby boom! Please make sure you book your newborn sessions well BEFORE your baby is born! I’ve recently had to turn away quite a few people who tried to book sessions after their baby was born. The two week window of time that we like to get them into the studio is so small that it’s very likely that if you wait until after your baby is born that you will not get in!

March 11, 2012On my way out to another busy day at the studio with a line up of an early morning baby session and a model session this afternoon but in my promise to share more I wanted to quickly share a few from a recent newborn session. This little sweetie is the new baby of one of my beautiful wedding couples! I LOVE when my wedding couples come back with their new babies! It is so fun watching families grow and evolve through the years! This little one is going to grow up to be a little charmer! See how adorable sweet she is!
I had beautiful twin newborns and a maternity in the studio yesterday! It’s a baby boom for sure with all these babies! I love it!
Off to the studio I go for a busy Sunday! We’re booking seven days a week and evening sessions these days to accommodate our clients busy schedules! The calendar is booking up really tight these days so please plan ahead when booking your session….spring will be here before we know it and my spring outside sessions are almost all booked! So excited to be so busy and I’m loving every moment!

February 19, 2012I have SO much blogging to catch up on! Maternity sessions, newborns and lots of cuties! But I wanted to pop on to quickly share some from a session because the babies in this shoot will be born on Wednesday and I wanted their parents to get a quick peek before they get caught up in the whirlwind that they are about to get caught up in! Melinda and Jana came in for a maternity session and they were so much fun! They had me laughing during the whole shoot. I cannot believe how great Melinda looks at 38 weeks and pregnant with twins! I didn’t look that good pregnant with one baby! She’s amazing! And she can move around better than I can too! haha! Anyhow, Melinda and Jana are going to be great parents and I’m so happy they chose me to shoot their maternity and twin newborn session! I cannot wait to meet those little ones! November 28, 2011Good golly I had the cutest little love in the studio the other day! It’s been such a busy season for us this year and I am so busy editing and shooting and getting things out to everyone! I promise I’ll have more cuties to share soon but I just wanted to pop in with a couple of photos of this little cutie! She has that porcelain doll look! Her grandmother made this beautiful layette in this first shot! It was perfect on her!

October 2, 2011Erica and Bill are expecting their first baby in just a couple of weeks! They came in for a maternity shoot and we had a ball! Erica had her hair and makeup perfectly done and brought tons of outfits and accessories, she really did a great job planning what she wanted to wear for her session! So did Bill! Poor guy, I kept insisting on no shirt and he had brought all sorts of cool clothes! LOL These two are so beautiful together as well as separately, can you imagine how beautiful their baby is going to be!?! Here is a peek from their session with some of my favorite shots!

Zenobia & Jay – Married | MA & RI Wedding Photographer
September 11, 2011I had the honor of photographing another beautiful wedding at a beautiful private residence! Zenobia was stunning and did not stop smiling all day! I love these happy brides! Jay was very handsome and they made a perfect match! The location was just exquisite with the most perfect beautiful tree (complete with tree swing) that they said their vows under and the grapevines and walls where we did their formals! What a beautiful spot for pictures! It was extremely sunny during their vows, but as the sun set after there was lots of beautiful light! Zenobia’s and Jay’s families were loads of fun and ready to have a lot of fun dancing and singing to the music by one of the Platters lead singers, Tony Funches (fabulous by the way)! It was a really fun wedding and even the kids (and let me tell you, there were oodles of beautiful babies at this wedding) were having a blast all the way through to the ice cream sundaes at the end! Little Princess | RI Newborn Photographer
August 21, 2011This little princess came in to the studio the other day for her first professional photo session at 11 days old! Not once did she close her eyes and she was already starting to loose the newborn curl! She was one of the sweetest awake babies I have ever photographed! Her eyes are the biggest eyes I have ever seen…just incredibly beautiful! Here are a few from her session! I’m sure you’ll agree how beautiful she is! Lucky for us it was a beautiful evening and right around the golden hour of sunset so we could get some beautiful outside shots! They are, of course, my favorites!
11 days old and this little girl was so very strong!
She was the cutest little thing! I enjoyed shooting her newborn session! I double enjoyed that we were able to take her outside! Mom and Dad I’ll be in touch in about two weeks with your private gallery! I hope you enjoy this peek for now!

August 8, 2011Mr. A came into the studio recently for a six month session. He was as cute as could be! This is a fun age! I know you’ve all heard me say it before, but once your baby is able to sit well and not yet crawling and walking it is one of the perfect times for a photoshoot! It’s one of the milestone sessions! Once babies become more mobile and start crawling and walking things become a bit more difficult. But this age, they will sit there and smile for you and just be the most adorable little things! Baby “A”‘s mama brought along a bunch of cute outfits and hats including a beautiful hand knit sweater by a very special grandmother who never got to meet this little guy! Here are a few images from his session at the studio!

Little Miss “M” is just under two and I had her come see me for a fun little tea party. This age can be a tough one to photograph but I find if we try to make the session fun and playful children of this age tend to do a lot better than in a studio situation. It took her a few to warm up but in the end I think she had a good time! We shot these just before sunset which gave us some very pretty light!

Miss “M” is just so very sweet! I knew she’d love a tea party! She was as cute as can be and she was playing, which is much more acceptable to a child her age! She even brought her very special lovey teddy! To Miss “M’s” mama I hope you love this peek….it’s just too adorable!
